Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 makes its appearance on the FCC database. The company is expected to introduce its new foldable phones in July this year. The FCC certification listing indicates that things are going smoothly and preparations by Samsung are underway.

As spotted by 91mobiles, FCC certification listed Samsung’s SM-F956U, which would be marketed as the Galaxy Z Fold 6. The supporting document shows the phone’s design with a large inner screen that folds in the middle and a cover screen on the front.

In addition, the FCC document confirms the Z Fold 6 supports wireless charging and 5G connectivity. The smartphone’s charging adapter has the model number EP-TA800, whereas the wireless charger has the EP-P5400 model number.

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 will have Wi-Fi 5.8GHz connectivity as well as Bluetooth, NFC, WPT, and UWB. This Wi-Fi tech is a dual-band frequency, which offers up to 1300Mb/sec speed. The reason behind using it seems to be to reduce the phone’s thickness and make it lighter.

Recently, we’ve seen the real-life image of the Galaxy Z Fold 6, showcasing the cover screen. The panel is expected to be as large as the Fold 5’s cover screen + thickness of the right bezel. It’s a significant improvement that Samsung managed to make without major form factor changes.

As far as the performance is concerned, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy processor will be used by both foldables. It will offer stable and seamless performance and gaming experience, however, the camera department may be disappointing as no upgrade for Fold is rumored.
