Samsung Galaxy A41, a mid-range Galaxy A series smartphone released in 2020, will no longer receive software updates. Initially, Samsung promised three years of security updates for its A series phones, but this was later extended to four years. As a result, the Galaxy A41 users enjoy regular software updates until now.

As of May 2024, the Galaxy A41 has received its final update with firmware version A415FXXX8DXE2. Although the Galaxy A41 will not get any new updates from Samsung, the phone is still secure and functional for current use.

The smartphone operates on Android 12, which is compatible with all major apps, including those for banking. Additionally, Google Play continues to provide system updates, keeping the phone’s essential features up to date.

For users who are considering replacing their Galaxy A41, the newest Galaxy A series smartphones including Galaxy A55, Galaxy A35, and Galaxy A15 are good options.

However, if your Galaxy A41 is still functioning well, there is no immediate need to replace it.
