Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 to be boxier beast, dummy reveals

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 design revealed through dummy units. The company’s upcoming book-type foldable phone comes with a boxier design. It has a slightly different screen ratio than the previous foldable phones launched by Samsung.

Before launch, the dummy units revealed the nearly final design of the Galaxy Z Fold 6. It features a boxier design, with a flat frame approach, similar to the Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus. The cover screen’s bezels also got reduced to offer a wider area in a similar frame.

On the back, the triple camera setup is also getting an odd design refresh. The phone could bring a budget-phone-like camera ring design with thick circular lines around it. Due to this, the camera rings might go larger than, with the island could continue to be aligned.

 

Apart from the standard variant, Samsung is also reportedly working on the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim and Z Flip 6 Slim. Rumors say that these models may have larger screens than the standard models, with the launch expected to happen later this year.

Meanwhile, the next Unpacked event might be held on July 10 in Paris, France. The company is considering the launch event two weeks ahead of the 2nd half event of 2023. This is due to the 2024 Paris Olympics, which kicks of in late July.
