Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2022) gets One UI 6.1 update

Samsung has started releasing an Android 14-based One UI 6.1 update for the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2022. Identified via One UI build version P619XXU6CXE8, the update arrives with an installation package size of around 2GB.

One UI 6.1 update for Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is available for users in Europe. The company will soon expand this update to more users. It is an initial rollout so it may take some hours or days to reach all models.

One UI 6.1 update offers advanced photo and video management tools, including an AI-powered editor and the capability to transfer elements between images. It also brings fresh lock screen widgets, alarm alerts with multimedia integration, and the option to embellish calendar dates with stickers.

In terms of security, the update improves data protection through upgraded Samsung Cloud services and integrates Passkey for expedited sign-ins. It further enhances the Finder, battery settings, weather widget, and Health app, among others.

For installation, users should navigate to the Software Update section within the Settings app and select ‘Download and Install’. It is recommended to install this update to access the new functions.
