Samsung is sending a fresh software update for the Galaxy A52s smartphone, which installs a May 2024 security patch to improve system security and stability. This update arrives with One UI build version A528BXXS8GXE1.

May 2024 security update for the Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G smartphone is currently rolling out in some European countries. It is an initial rollout so it may take some days or weeks to reach all models.

The new update focuses on security improvements, addressing critical and non-critical vulnerabilities in both the Android OS and Samsung’s One UI. It also enhances some functions to boost performance. The installation package size of this update is around 314.96MB.

Users can check new software updates manually with a handful of simple steps. Firstly, visit your Galaxy device’s “System Settings,” once done, scroll down and tap the “Software update” tab, followed by the “Download and install” button.
