Elon Musk sparked X Phone rumors with Samsung collaboration. Nothing has been finalized at this stage, but the Tesla owner’s comment spread across the world, with the internet filling with hundreds of assumptions.

Apple announced its partnership with ChatGPT maker OpenAI. iOS 18 update will bring Generative AI features to iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. The company also confirmed OS-level AI integration with OpenAI.

Responding to this, Elon hinted at a ban on such iPhone models at his companies. Do note that there’s nothing officially confirmed about Apple iPhone restriction at manufacturing units of Tesla, SpaceX, or The Boring Company.

Elon Musk has been critical of Apple’s closed ecosystem and its use of OpenAI tech. Recently, Elon responded to a social media post suggesting a partnership with Samsung for an “X Phone” by saying “It is not out of the question.”

This has led to speculation that he might be interested in creating X Phone. This statement through his comment has fueled rumors of a potential collaboration with Samsung to create an X Phone in the future.
