Samsung Galaxy S23 getting second May 2024 update in Europe, ahead of June patch
We are in June 2024 and Samsung has pushed the second May 2024 update for the Galaxy S23 series in Europe. However, the company has recently started releasing the latest Android security patch for these devices in the US.
Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphones are getting a second May 2024 security update with One UI build version S911BXXU5CXE3, S916BXXU5CXE3, and S918BXXU5CXE3 respectively.
The fresh update improves stability and reliability to provide a better Galaxy experience. In addition, it fixes some issues that users encountered in the last updates to enhance the security of the device. However, the changelog does not include any new features or changes.
The installation package size of the latest update is around 445MB. You can install the update in Europe through Settings >> Software Update >> Download and Install.
As Samsung has already initiated the June 2024 security patch rollout, Galaxy S23 users in Europe will soon get it. Currently, users in the US can enjoy the enhanced features of the latest update.
