Following the name registration in April, Samsung today launched the SmartThings Pro in the US. The company is participating in Infocomm 2024 held in Las Vegas, USA from June 12 to 14. It will also unveil various business display products and solutions for businesses.

Samsung revealed that the SmartThings Pro is a corporate version of SmartThings. It is a hyper-connectivity-based platform, which enables integrated management by linking various devices, solutions, and services in the B2B (business-to-business) market.

The solution boasts corporate services that can be conveniently managed by linking various IoT products such as lighting, temperature and humidity control, and cameras to suit the corporate environment. Its dashboard allows you to view the connection status of devices, powered by AI.

Samsung confirmed that the SmartThigs Pro will gradually be released internationally.

In addition, displays, system air conditioners, and home appliances connected to Smart Things Pro can reduce power consumption within the company through “AI Saving Mode,” which applies energy-saving algorithms for each product.

“We are pleased to unveil a large number of new products, not only hardware but also solutions and services, at this Infocomm exhibition,” said Hoon Jeong, Vice President of Samsung Electronics’ Visual Display Business Department. “Befitting our status as number one in signage sales for 15 consecutive years, we are entering the era of hyper-connectivity and AI in the commercial market.” “Samsung Electronics will take the lead,” he said.
