Samsung is working on an additional variant of the Galaxy Z Fold 6. The phone was supposed to be the first Ultra-branded foldable by the company. However, the latest rumor indicates that there will be no Ultra but Samsung may launch Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim soon.

According to IceUniverse, Samsung may launch the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim in September or October. The device was previously rumored to have a thinner design than the Standard model and a larger display. This means, there will be no Z Fold 6 Ultra launching anytime soon.

The tipster specifically noted that the Q6A device is Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim, not the Ultra. It could be launched as the Samsung W25 in the Chinese market. If the input is entirely correct, Koreans may get the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim while the Chinese will Samsung W25.

Previously, it was reported that Samsung was inspired by Huawei’s recent foldable phones. The company has even reverse-engineered the latest Huawei foldable to see how it reduced thickness. Also, market selection is all well as Koreans and Chinese consumers are more interested in foldables.

Next month, the South Korean tech giant will hold its Unpacked event in Paris. Several Galaxy products including foldable phones, new smartwatches, Galaxy Ring, and a pair of new earbuds are reportedly coming. Stay tuned with Sammy Fans to get the latest insights!
