Samsung could delay One UI 7 for a sweet surprise!
Samsung One UI 7 could be delayed due to the One UI 6.1.1 update. For the first time, the company is considering offering One UI’s x.1.1 update to non-foldable devices. Interestingly, the One UI 6.1.1 will be packed with new Galaxy AI features for the S24 series.
Recently, IceUniverse revealed that One UI 6.1.1 will release for the Galaxy S24 series. The tipster specifically noted that the One UI 7 will not arrive very early. Google recently rolled out Android 15’s Beta 3 for Pixel phones, which reached the Platform Stability milestone.
Galaxy users are eagerly waiting for the One UI 7 Beta Program to begin. However, Samsung has some other plans to elevate the user experience and uplevel the Galaxy AI. Even before the major upgrade, the company appears to be deploying new AI-powered features.
One UI 7 will not arrive very early, because there are special circumstances this year.
Samsung will first push One UI 6.1.1 to S24 series. One UI 6.1.1 contains many new AI functions, which is not a small upgrade. I got the exact time to start pushing these updates to S24 users…— ICE UNIVERSE (@UniverseIce) June 19, 2024
Galaxy AI of One UI 6.1.1 might be inspired by iOS 18. Apple teased some interesting AI features that look quite promising in everyday usage. Similarly, Samsung may introduce some deeply integrated tools powered by artificial intelligence and Generative AI.
A powerful text-to-image generator feature might be available in One UI 6.1.1. The function is expected to be optimized with the S Pen of your Galaxy. As a result, users would have an enhanced image generation experience with the power of the S Pen stylus.
Still, we guess Samsung will release the One UI 7 Beta by August in any case. The company has to begin the update rollout of Stable version by October so it can be finished within the year ends. That’s it for now, I will keep you posted on further developments!

Samsung has reportedly fueled the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro with Mercedez-like LED light strips on stems. However, it remains to be seen whether the LED will glow in Pure White or in RGB format.
Samsung will also launch the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 foldables. The former retains the same design, while the latter will have a slightly wider cover screen, making it more useful in unfolded state.
