Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 may launch soon, gains Indonesian certification
Samsung may launch a new smartwatch lineup at next month’s Unpacked event. Meanwhile, Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Watch 7 gained Indonesia Telecom Certification. It confirms that the smartwatch is coming to the Indonesian market, following its debut at Unpacked.
Indonesia Telecom reveals that Galaxy Watch 7 carries model number SM-L300. The smartwatch will be available in four variants; with different sizes and networks. Model numbers SM-L300 and SM-L310 correspond to WiFi-only, while SM-L305 and SM-L315 could be LTE connectivity variants.
The certification doesn’t reveal any specs or features besides the model number. However, previous reports revealed that the Watch 7 will support 15W wireless charging. The company’s first 3nm Exynos chip will also be used to enhance power efficiency and performance.
Galaxy Watch Ultra
Besides Standard and Classis, Samsung will launch its first Galaxy Watch Ultra at the event. The smartwatch will have a Watch 5 Pro-like big battery for long-lasting use. It will have more advanced dust and water resistance capabilities for sea divers.
The Ultra model would have a more robust build design, featuring the same circular battery but inside a squarish frame. The Korean tech giant aims to compete with Apple’s Watch Ultra product lineup by bringing the Ultra variant to its own Galaxy Watch lineup.
