Recently, it was rumored that Samsung is planning to roll out the One UI 6.1.1 update to the Galaxy S24 series. Now, the tipster clarified that the version won’t be bumped to One UI 6.1.1 on Samsung’s Galaxy S24 series, but AI features and enhancements will be applied.

Samsung will introduce new Galaxy AI features with One UI 6.1.1 in upcoming foldables. These new One UI 6.1.1 AI features will be provided to the Galaxy S24, S24 Plus, and S24 Ultra in August 2024. As usual, changes will be made across the OS, keeping the version number unchanged.

IceUniverse reiterated that the One UI 6.1.1 update will be limited to foldable phones and tablets. It will first debut with the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 next month. Later on, the company will expand select new features and enhancements to older devices.

One UI 6.1-based Galaxy AI introduced many new features and capabilities. Circle to Search, Live Translate, Chat Assist, Note Assist, Browsing Assist, Generative Wallpaper, and Interpreter are some of the most used features by Galaxy fans.

Beyond that, One UI 6.1.1 is rumored to bring a powerful text-to-image generator feature. It’s expected to be optimized with the S Pen of your Galaxy. Users would have a unique image generation experience with the power of the S Pen stylus.

Meanwhile, it is said that the company may delay One UI 7 due to the One UI 6.1.1 update. Galaxy users are eagerly waiting for the One UI 7 Beta announcement. Google recently rolled out Android 15’s Beta 3, which reached the Platform Stability milestone.
