Prototype Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6: Have looks

Images of prototype Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6 give us a closer look at Samsung’s upcoming foldables. The images of prototype/dummy units are obtained by 9to5Google, claiming to showcase crease and design. While the design can be considered, the crease can’t be like this.

Dummy units are made for just reference purposes at the device. These products have the same design measurements and weight as the original units. However, dummy manufacturers use cheap quality materials to create dummies, which have quite different attributes.

Considering dummy units, Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Fold device would have a wider cover screen. The screen ratio of the internal panel may also be enhanced to offer a better user experience. The width of the cover screen is extended by reducing the side bezel of the Z Fold 5.

On the other hand, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 looks almost the same as its predecessor. Whether it’s the camera arrangement or the design of the cover screen, everything looks the same. The improvements are expected to be seen in the hinge appearance and durability.

Samsung could launch the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 on July 10. This year’s H2 Unpacked is expected in Paris, France right before the 2024 Olympics kicks off. There will be more products including the Galaxy Watch Ultra, Galaxy Ring, Watch 7 series and Buds 3 series.
