Residents will get an even smarter and more streamlined Samsung Wallet experience in France. Samsung announced that Wallet will support Île-de-France Mobilités (IDFM) integration on Samsung Galaxy devices, beginning this summer.

Integration of Île-de-France Mobilités into Samsung Wallet will ensure seamless public transportation services through Navigo Travel Card. The app’s Add to Wallet function will also make it easy for visitors to France to enjoy popular Paris attractions and sites.

Samsung is also partnering with Air France to offer convenient flight ticket management. These advancements will be accessible through a pre-loaded shortcut displayed under the Transit menu. However, you will need to wait till the rollout kickstarts in the Summer.

The application will also reduce the need for physical cards or tickets. Galaxy smartphone users will be able to simply tap their devices to board or transfer buses, metros and Réseau Express Régional (RER) lines.

Even beyond Paris, Samsung Galaxy users can enjoy the simplicity of payment card-based transit across multiple French cities, including Marseille, Lyon, Toulouse, Lille, and Aix-en-Provence.

Foreign travelers will be prompted via push notification to explore these features upon arrival. Visitors can explore all the entertainment France has to offer with ease, from sites like the Palace of Versailles to over 200 cinemas.
