Users of the Galaxy S24 series have reported an issue with photo editing on the Gallery app after moving photos using the Smart Switch app. This issue is particularly noticeable when photos edited in the Gallery app’s editing mode are not saving properly after the transfer.

Samsung is already aware of this issue and is preparing to release a new software update to fix it. Users may soon receive a notification prompting them to update their device. It is expected that the July 2024 security update will fix this issue.

To update your Galaxy S24 smartphone, go to Settings and then scroll down and select Software Update. If an update is available, tap Download and Install to start updating your device. It is important to keep your device software up-to-date to ensure it functions optimally.
