Samsung Galaxy A55 starts getting June 2024 security update

Samsung is rolling out a fresh update for the Galaxy A55 smartphone, which installs the latest Android security patch released in June 2024. The new update improves system security and stability to provide a better user experience.

June 2024 patch fixes over 55 vulnerabilities including those affecting the grid image display, battery statistics services, call verification, the Samsung Dialer app, and more.

To check for software updates manually, head toward your phone’s Settings. At the bottom, you will get the Software Update section, simply open it. Inside the submenu, you need to hit the Download and Install button if your Galaxy fetches a new OTA.

Samsung Galaxy A55 smartphone is getting the June 2024 security update with One UI build version A556EXXS3AXF3. The update is rolling out in Malaysia and the company will soon make it available in more countries.

Aside from this, the smartphone recently received a May 2024 security patch in Europe. The smartphone is currently running One UI 6.1 based on Android 14.
