Galaxy Unpacked 2024

Samsung took major international landmarks to promote its mega Unpacked event. The company installed giant teasers of the July 2024 Unpacked event and Galaxy AI across cities globally. Teasers show that the Galaxy AI will take center stage yet again after its debut earlier this year.

Digital billboards went live in various cities around the world, including Bangkok, Brasília, Dubai, Ho Chi Minh City, London, Madrid, New York, Seoul, Tokyo and Warsaw, among many others. The campaign video symbolizes Samsung’s journey to unlock all new experiences.

The Korean tech giant launched a global billboard campaign on July 26. As part of this campaign, various Samsung video ads went live screening a rotating 3D cube on a flat surface, followed by a projection of the Eiffel Tower and 4-stars representing Galaxy AI.

You will be able to join the July Unpacked and “Galaxy AI is here” live stream on July 10 through official channels.

Samsung will introduce several new hardware products at the next month’s Unpacked event. The Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 will take center stage. Besides, the Galaxy Ring and Watch Ultra will join the event alongside the Watch 7 series and Buds 3 series.

Samsung going radical with Galaxy S25 Ultra, Plus might be killed

Samsung Galaxy S24 S23 second May 2024 update

Samsung is working on Galaxy S25 (not Plus) and S25 Ultra, expected to launch in January next year. The company is expected to change with its next flagship lineup radically. A new report suggests that the change won’t be limited to design refreshment but also simplify the series.

AndroidHeadlines spotted Samsung developing Galaxy S25 and S25 Ultra. Unfortunately, the source failed to fetch the existence of the Galaxy S25 Plus. This means the Korean tech giant may abandon the Plus model to simplify the flagship lineup.

In its own database, the outlet spotted the existence of the S25 and S25 Ultra. The lack of the Plus model aligns with previous rumors about the company discontinuing the Plus variant. The rumor was for Galaxy S24 Plus, but seemingly becoming true next year.

Per the report, the Galaxy S25 is available with the model number SM-S931B/DS in the IMEI database. Besides, the S25 Ultra appears under SM-S938B, SM-S938U, SM-S938N, and SM-S9380 model numbers—where “B” stands for Global, “U” for USA, and “N” for South Korea.

Plus going away?

It won’t be quite surprising if Samsung cancels the Plus variant in 2025. It has been observed that the middle child somehow fails to gain sales momentum. This year, Samsung brought many fruitful upgrades to Galaxy S24 Plus, but Standard and Ultra sold the most.

Since 2020, Samsung launched three variants of its Galaxy S flagship series – Standard, Plus, and Ultra. As the Note lineup has been discontinued, the foldable segment is gradually entering the mainstream. Further simplification might be done with the Galaxy S25 series by ditching Plus.
