Samsung has acknowledged the clock overlap issue on One UI devices and confirmed to resolve it with an upcoming software update. The clock issue occurs primarily when Lockstar is used with an automatic restart routine.

Users have noted that sometimes upon turning on their phone, the lock screen clock appears to overlap and a manual restart is required to fix it temporarily.

In response to this concern, a Samsung community moderator apologized for any inconvenience caused and assured users that the company is actively working on a solution. He also confirmed that the issue arises specifically when using LockStar and Autostart Routine simultaneously.

The good news is that Samsung is planning to release a software update shortly to address this issue. The update aims to fix the clock overlap issue to enhance the user experience and ensure seamless functionality of the lock screen.

Samsung Unpacked TXT

Samsung released a new Unpacked teaser hinting at a collaboration with the popular K-pop group TXT. The teaser showcases the Galaxy Z Flip 6 creating a dynamic visual similar to TXT. Adding more fuel to the spark, TXT confirmed that Samsung hadn’t mistakenly tagged TXT.

TXT is a South Korean K-pop group, which is also known as Tomorrow X Together. This year’s event is taking place in Paris, France next week. It is expected that the Korean tech giant is all set to surprise the visitors and fans with the performance of TXT.

Samsung Unpacked event would include a dynamic performance by TXT. Previously, the company had collaborated with popular South Korean boy band BTS. We guess the new Over the Horizon might be tuned by TXT this year rather than BTS.

Samsung is finally bringing dust resistance to its foldable smartphones. The upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 feature dust resistance, confirmed in leaked material. Besides, many features and key specs have been revealed ahead of the Unpacked.

After water resistance, dust resistance arrives at Samsung foldable lineup with Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6. Both phones will be the first Samsung foldables to feature dust resistance. The company has been working for a long time to bring this meaningful upgrade to the devices.

With the Z Flip 3 and Z Fold 3, the Korean tech giant debuted water resistance. The same suite was followed by the Z Flip 4 and Z Fold 4 in 2022 and the Z Flip 5 and Z Fold 5 in 2023. Now the next-gen Samsung foldables will be much durable with protection against dust.

As shown in the leaked images, Samsung has equipped the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 with IP48 dust and water resistance. The IP rating suggests that both devices are protected against debris greater than 1mm (0.039 inches) in size.

For the Flip phone, Samsung is bringing a 50-megapixel primary camera. For better cooling, the next flip phone features vapor chamber technology, similar to S series phones. The battery capacity has also increased to 4,000mAh from 3,700 mAh in Flip 5.
