Samsung recently revealed details of the July 2024 security along with the revised list of the software update plan for Galaxy devices. Through this list, Samsung has officially announced the discontinuation of updates for the Galaxy A21s.

Launched in 2020, Samsung Galaxy A21s has completed its update cycle as per the company’s policy. This smartphone will no longer receive new Android updates beyond version 12 and the latest security patch released in May 2024.

Samsung Galaxy A21s is an affordable Galaxy A series smartphone and features an innovative front camera design. But now, users of this smartphone will no longer get regular software updates.

Despite the end of software updates, the Galaxy A21s continues to function normally and remains safe for use with compatibility for common applications like banking apps on Android 12. Instead, the phone will continue to receive Google Play system updates, ensuring important security features remain up-to-date.

Users of the Galaxy A21s can look forward to newer models such as the Galaxy A15, A25, and A35, which offer enhanced features and the latest software.
