Samsung has rolled out a new update for its Samsung Wallet app to improve user experience, especially for transit card users. This update is available on the Galaxy Store for One UI devices with version 5.5.30.

Users who have updated to version 5.5.24 may have noticed a prompt to re-register their transit card if they recently changed their USIM card.

Fortunately, the new update addresses an issue where changing the USIM card could accidentally delete the stored transportation card in the Samsung Wallet app.

With the release of version 5.5.30, the Korean tech giant has fixed the transit card issue of the Samsung Wallet. Users are advised to update their Samsung Wallet app to this latest version through the Galaxy Store. The updated package size is approximately 104.86MB.

To install the update, follow the steps below:

  • Open the Galaxy Store app on your Samsung device.
  • Use the search feature to locate the Samsung Wallet app.
  • Enter the app’s page and proceed to update it to version 5.5.30.

By updating to the latest version of Samsung Wallet, users who use the app can now easily manage their transit cards. This update resolves the issue of transit card deletion after USIM card changes and ensures a smoother experience overall.

For users who encountered the prompt to re-register their transit card after updating to version 5.5.24, updating to version 5.5.30 will resolve this issue. Users can also download the update from the third-party app link mentioned here.
