Samsung and Google are the closest partners in the Android tech industry. Reiterating their collab, Samsung and Google bolstered the new Galaxy Z and One UI 6.1.1 by fully integrating Gemini AI. It’s like a blow to Apple, which is still striving to get Google’s Gemini.

At the Unpacked, Samsung showcased its longstanding partnership with Google. The new Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6 deeply integrated the Gemini AI app. It offers consumers their own AI-powered assistant, which is full of seamless advantages.

You can bring up Gemini’s overlay by swiping the corner of the screen or saying, “Hey Google.” The AI-powered Gemini app provides help with writing, learning, or planning.

It’s also integrated with the most popular Google apps to make it easy to have a connected experience. Gemini is deeply integrated with Google apps, it can help you take action across Gmail, Docs, Maps, Drive, and more.

For instance, when you want detailed info about a K-pop music video while watching YouTube on Galaxy Z Fold 6, you can access the Gemini overlay in the multi-window split screen to ask questions.

These enhancements are expected to soon be available for the Galaxy S24 series. Samsung might provide enhanced Galaxy AI functions to older phones next month, however, the version won’t be bumped.

Apple could surely shift gears to reach an agreement with Google. The company has collaborated with OpenAI for iPhones but Google’s Gemini AI model is significantly capable in multiple tasks.
