New One UI 6 Watch Beta update for Galaxy Watch 5 rolls out with July 2024 Patch
Samsung has recently begun releasing the One UI 6 Watch Beta 3 update for the Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. Now, the company is rolling out a new One UI 6 Watch Beta update for Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro users, which shares the same changelog as Beta 3 for the Watch 6 series.
The new One UI 6 Watch Beta update for the Galaxy Watch 5 series can be identified through the build version ending with ZXG3. It arrives with an installation size of around 300MB and installs the July 2024 security patch to enhance system security.
Users of the Galaxy Watch 5 series can currently enjoy this update in Korea and the company will soon make it available in more eligible countries. This update comes with significant improvements and enhancements.
The update brings improved system stability and optimized performance to address issues related to battery consumption and application execution speed. It also enhances network interoperability to provide better connectivity experiences.

Despite these advancements, the update is not without its known issues. Users may notice an issue where the Always-On Display (AOD) fails to deactivate when the watch is not being worn after installing this update.
