Samsung Galaxy A55 July 2024 update rolling out in Europe

Samsung Galaxy A55 smartphone users are getting a July 2024 security update in Europe. This update is already available for A55 users in the Middle East and India, aiming to expand to more countries soon.

July 2024 security update protects Galaxy devices against security threats by incorporating the security patches for Android and Samsung. The update also brings several bug fixes to provide a more reliable and efficient user experience.

It fixes over 55 issues that are mainly related to One UI Home, System UI, Secure Folder, and more, further enhancing device security.

Samsung Galaxy A55 users are getting the July 2024 security update in Europe with One UI version A556BXXS4AXF3 and a download package size of 233MB. It is based on One UI 6.1 and Android 14.

Users are advised to install the update promptly to benefit from the improved security measures. For those who have not received an update notification, the update can be manually checked and installed.

To install the update, open the smartphone’s settings, select ‘Software Update’, and then ‘Download and install’. Following these steps will ensure that your Galaxy smartphone is up-to-date with the latest security protections.

Aside from this, Samsung has just started releasing a July 2024 security update for Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A04e smartphones. The company will soon deliver this update to more Galaxy devices.
