Galaxy S25 Ultra battery revealed in Samsung document

India’s BIS authority listed an alleged battery of Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Ultra. The flagship is slated for 2025 launch but certification actions are already underway. The database only revealed the battery’s model number, no battery capacity info.

91mobiles spotted the Galaxy S25 Ultra battery on India’s BIS certification. The product bears model numbers EB-BS938ABE and EB-BS938ABY. Other than model numbers, the listing has no info related to hardware specs such as capacity.

Samsung’s newly launched Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 are yet to go on sale. However, the company has already shifted its focus to the development of the next flagships. We might witness the unveiling in early January next year.

While the capacity remains unconfirmed, we expect no upgrade in battery mAh. The Galaxy S25 Ultra might be packed with a 5000mAh battery. The company may improve the battery life with AI features and better-optimized software.

Recently, a reliable source revealed that the S25 Ultra’s middle frame is getting redesigned. The frame will be flatter/angular on display side and rounded on the back panel side. This design optimization is aimed at improving the device handline.

In addition, the next Ultra is unlikely to feature the S24 Ultra like boxy design. The company is said to be considering a Note 7-inspired design for the S25 Ultra. It will reduce the corner sharpness, making them almost rounded to prevent crusing palm.

Rumor related to Galaxy S25 Plus cancellation is also fake. It has been discovered that the middle-child of the lineup is still under development. It may see the lights of the day when Unpacked takes place for the Galaxy S25 series next year.
