Samsung AT&T Customer Support

Samsung inked a fruitful collaboration with AT&T to upgrade its customer support. Right after the Unpacked, Samsung announced a handful of upgrades to its customer care network for Galaxy devices. The company has also debuted  AI-powered tools to better address consumer concerns.

According to Samsung, Galaxy consumers can call upon AT&T’s Call Center agents for help regarding (in-warranty) walk-in phone repair services. The company confirmed these services will be available at any of its 700 retail or uBreakiFix locations across the United States.

Meanwhile, the phone repair service may only be available for AT&T customers. High-level collaboration might also result in same-day service opportunities. Besides, the company’s AT&T alliance adds Same Unit Repair (SUR) options to the network’s customers.

“Introducing new partnerships and using AI-powered tools to further enhance the capabilities of our agents, allows for more efficient and effective experiences, extending our commitment to exceptional Care,” said Mark Williams, Vice President of Customer Care for Samsung Electronics America.

The Korean tech giant also reiterated its commitment to get a person’s sensitive device back into their hands quickly. The new SUR will play a key role here, devices will get fixed fixed to “factory quality condition” and return without needing a “comparable new or refurbished unit.”

Benefits of Walk-In Service:

  • Same-Day Repairs: Available for most mobile phones, including Galaxy S21 models and newer, with appointments by 3 PM or earlier.
  • One-on-One Consultation: Personalized service for a better customer experience.
  • No Data Transfer Needed: Your device will be returned with the same settings, to get you back up and running immediately.

James is the lead content creator on Sammy Fans and mostly works on Samsung's firmware section. His first phone was the Galaxy S4 and continues to get new S series devices. Most of the time, James tries to learn about new technologies and gadgets but he also sneaks a bit of free time to nearby rivers and nature.

The Epic Games Store for Android is available internationally, while the iOS variant is limited to the European Union. The store is launching with Fortnite, Rocket League Sideswipe, and the all-new Fall Guys for mobile.

The developer is also working to enable all developers to bring their games and apps through the Epic Games Store in the future. Epic Games is also said to be bringing its games to independent mobile stores including AltStore PAL starting today.

Google Imagen 3

Google’s Imagen 3 AI image generator is now available for all US users. At I/O 2024, the company launched its text-to-image-generator model. Following the Pixel 9 debut, Google silently expanded access to all users in the United States.

The US tech giant has silently expanded the Images 3 to all US users. You can try the updated image generator via Google’s AI Test Kitchen. Earlier, it was restricted to the Vertex AI development platform and a private preview.

Google’s research team stated in their paper, published on arxiv.org, “We introduce Imagen 3, a latent diffusion model that generates high-quality images from text prompts. Imagen 3 is preferred over other state-of-the-art models at the time of evaluation.”

For starters, Pixel 9’s Pixel Studio app is powered by the Imagen 3 AI platform. This application makes it possible to generate AI images with text inputs. The app also powers picture editing powered by on-device AI – saving users time.

While Pixel 9 is equipped with Imagen 3, you don’t need to make a purchase. The solution will be made available to a broad audience gradually. Samsung will likely include it in its Android 15-based One UI 7 update.

The company claims that it “significantly improved” the tool’s ability to understand prompts. For even better and relevant results, Imagen 3 will be available in a dedicated version targeting: quick sketches and high-resolution pictures.
