Samsung is rolling out the July 2024 security update for Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphones. The update is live for users in Europe and the company will soon expand it to more countries.

July 2024 security update for Samsung Galaxy S23 series arrives with One UI build version given below:

  • Galaxy S23 Ultra – S918BXXS6CXFE

The company is dispatching the latest software update with system security improvements to keep your files and data safe on your phone. It also optimizes system stability to offer you uninterrupted and seamless functionality on your device. It is a regular software update so it does not include any new features or changes except for security improvements.

July 2024 update contains the Security Maintenance Release (SMR), combining patches from Google and Samsung. Google addresses 4 critical and 21 high-level vulnerabilities in Android.

Samsung has also addressed 33 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE) related to components like One UI Home, System UI, Secure Folder, and more, further enhancing device security.

Users are advised to update their Galaxy S23 models to enjoy enhanced security, improved stability, and new features offered by this update. To install the update, users can navigate to the Settings app, access the Software Update section, and choose the ‘Download and Install’ option.
