Samsung Internet Browser Beta

Exciting news for Samsung fans coming straight from Korea indicating a massive AI breakthrough. In a huge development, South Korea’s Rebellion and Sapeon have merged to create a powerful AI semiconductor company valued at over $740 million.

According to BusinessKorea, Rebellion and Sapeon will together target Nvidia apart from deepening their partnership with Samsung. The development promises a significant AI boost in South Korea, ultimately benefitting Galaxy consumers.

The Rebellion and Sapeon merger has sparked considerable interest in the industry, particularly regarding how Samsung, which has maintained a cooperative relationship with Rebellions, will navigate this new landscape.

Rebellion has been outsourcing its AI semiconductor mass production to Samsung, while Sapeon has been doing the same with TSMC. Following the merger, Samsung could establish a cooperative system with the newly formed entity.

As both firms are linked with Samsung and TSMC, it would be interesting to see whether their attention would be. However, the united firm would stand by the local vendor; Samsung, as part of bringing the technological edge to Korea.

An industry official commented, “Samsung Electronics needs to continue cooperating with domestic unicorns to expand its customer base,” adding, “It will want to be deeply involved in the supply chain of the merged entity in some form.”

Evidence: Samsung Galaxy A16 5G packs 5000mAh battery

Samsung Galaxy A06

Samsung will equip the Galaxy A16 5G with a 5000mAh battery. The company has recently launched the Galaxy A06 phone in Vietnam. Now, preparations for Galaxy A16’s unveiling are underway ahead of November anticipations.

3C certification revealed that Samsung Galaxy A16 5G will have 5000mAh battery. In particular, the smartphone has a rated battery capacity of 4,860 mAh. However, the company would market it as 5000mAh (typical capacity).

The same authority recently disclosed the charging support of the Galaxy Tab S10 tablets. However, charging speed confirmation on the Galaxy A16 5G is awaited. We guess it to be the same as its predecessor, Samsung’s favorite 25W.

The handset could feature an Infinity-U screen following Samsung’s signature design on the rear. The back will consist of three camera sensors accompanied by an LED flash. The volume and power keys could adopt the Key Island design.

Under the hood, the handset is said to boast a Dimensity 6300+ in some markets and the Exynos 1330 in others. Samsung could bring options like 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB RAM with up to 128GB of internal storage paired.

In terms of optics, the Galaxy A16 5G could feature 50MP primary, 5MP ultrawide, and 2MP macro cameras on the back, plus a 13MP at the front. Samsung will most likely offer the A16 5G pre-loaded with Android 14-based One UI 6.1.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra battery mAh (almost) confirmed!

Samsung Galaxy S24 August 2024 security update India

Samsung has no plan to bring a larger battery in the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Battery capacity leaked in the past is now almost confirmed by a crucial certification site. It seems a battery upgrade is reserved for the next year’s flagship smartphone.

91mobiles spotted the battery of the Galaxy S25 Ultra on China’s 3C database. The evidence suggests that the device will be equipped with a 5000mAh battery. The S25 Ultra is listed with a 4885mAh battery, which Samsung will market as 5000mAh.

Previously, the battery and charging support of the next Ultra is said to be the same as S24 Ultra. It means, the flagship will support 45W fast charging. The S25 Plus could also get the same treatment but we hope its expansion to the vanilla variant.

While Samsung is rumored to bring major changes, the battery segment remains unchanged. Most of the smartphone makers opted for batteries larger than 5000mAh. However, Samsung is sticking to 5000mAh despite increased load of SoC and AI processing.

Larger battery doesn’t always guarantee longer backup. If the software has bugs, 6000mAh battery could feel like 4000mAh or even lesser. That said, Samsung doesn’t require to bring a larger cell as consumers deserve practical change, not on paper.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 uses new Oryon central processing unit. It will be manufactured by TSMC on cutting-edge 3nm process node. This significant change will also result in boosted performance as well as enhanced power efficiency.

In terms of GPU, the S23 Ultra outpaced iPhone 15 Pro Max. This year, Qualcomm and Samsung have an opportunity to surpass Apple in performance. Therefore, all eyes are on the Oryon CPU that is said to offer major performance increment.
