Galaxy Z Flip 3, Fold 3 get treated with July 2024 security update
July 2024 security update is available to a bunch of Galaxy devices and Samsung is now rolling out this patch to Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 smartphones. The update is available for users in Europe and will soon be released in more countries.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 users are receiving the July 2024 security update with One UI build versions F711BXXS9HXFC and F928BXXS8HXFC respectively.
The company is releasing the latest software update with system security improvements to keep your files and data safe on your phone. It also optimizes system stability to offer you uninterrupted and seamless functionality on your device.
July 2024 patch brings fixes for 4 critical and 21 high-priority Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) identified by Google, alongside 33 Samsung-specific Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVEs).
Users can check new software updates manually with a handful of simple steps. Firstly, visit your Galaxy device’s “System Settings,” once done, scroll down and tap the “Software update” tab, followed by the “Download and install” button.
Last week, Samsung introduced One UI 6.1.1 with Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 smartphones. In addition, the company is preparing to make this significant update available to more devices soon. The third generation of Galaxy foldable is also eligible for it but they may not include some Galaxy AI features.
