Samsung has started releasing the July 2024 security update for Galaxy S20 FE 5G and Galaxy A52s 5G smartphones. The update addresses various vulnerabilities to ensure these devices remain secure against potential threats.

July 2024 security update for Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G is available in Europe while the Galaxy S20 FE 5G users are getting this update in India. It is an initial rollout and the company will soon expand it to more countries.

What’s New in July 2024 Security Patch 

July 2024 update contains the Security Maintenance Release (SMR), combining patches from Google and Samsung. Google addresses 4 critical and 21 high-level vulnerabilities in Android.

Samsung has also addressed 33 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE) related to components like One UI Home, System UI, Secure Folder, and more, further enhancing device security.

If you have received the notification of the update then install it now to get a bug-free experience. You can also check the update by visiting the Settings app on your smartphone and opening the Software Update section.

Now, click on the Download and Install option. If any update is available, you can follow the on-screen instructions to install the update on your Galaxy smartphone.
