Galaxy AI’s upgraded Live Translate supports many non-Samsung apps. Leaving One UI’s Phone app exclusivity, Live Translate now functions with all popular third-party apps. Consumers get real-time translations over voice calls.

Live Translate in Galaxy AI v2 has a dedicated app list based on the present installs. All the compatible apps installed on your phone will be available in the Live Translate menu. You can enable or disable the translation feature for any app from the list.

It has been discovered that all popular third-party voice-calling apps are supported by Live Translate. Those apps include Facebook Messenger, Google Meet, Instagram, Kakao Talk, LINE, Signal, Telegram, WeChat, and WhatsApp.

One UI 6.1.1-based Galaxy AI should be praised for this massive upgrade. The Korean tech giant announced earlier regarding the support expansion. It took place with the One UI 6.1.1, slated to expand to older devices sequentially next month.

Last month, Samsung announced that the Live Translate feature would work with third-party apps. The company has stayed true to its promise. With One UI 6.1.1, the feature seems to work with almost all instant messaging and internet calling apps.
