Google just released Android 15 Beta 4, indicating an imminent official debut. Meanwhile, Samsung is slated to introduce its One UI 7 version with radical design changes heavily inspired by Apple’s latest iOS 18 iteration.

X tipster chunvn8888 revealed a list of changes that could be seen in Samsung’s next One UI version. The Android 15-based One UI 7 may borrow icons and design decisions from Apple’s iOS 18 coming to iPhone models later this year.

The claim mentions that One UI 7 could come with new and more rounded icons with subtle 3D effects. Galaxy users will have the option to personalize the quick actions with limited options, which are featured on the lock screen.

Samsung’s Android 15 could also make it possible to place many new apps as quick action buttons on the lock screen. The notification panel could split into two parts with a swipe down from the left will expand notifications, while a right swipe will display quick settings.

Samsung will also revamp the camera user interface to simplify it. The menu system will be enhanced with a user-centric approach. All the quick-setting icons could be repositioned to the bottom so that Galaxy users easily access frequently used options.

The news is based on input shared by tipster Chun on X. The Korean tech giant will likely kickstart the One UI 7 Beta Program next month. It will officially reveal the design changes and new features of Samsung’s Android 15 update.

The Beta Program will be available for a limited number of Galaxy devices. However, the company will officially unveil the software in early October this year. The public rollout of the new version will likely start in late October or early November.
