Samsung Galaxy A53 gets July 2024 update in Brazil

Samsung has already rolled out the July 2024 security update for Galaxy A53 5G in the US and the company is now expanding its availability by rolling out it for users in Brazil. The update improves system security and stability to enhance the overall performance.

Users of the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G smartphone in Brazil are getting a July 2024 security update with One UI build A536EXXSBEXF6. The installation package size of this update is around 280MB.

July 2024 security patch addresses over 55 issues including 4 critical and 21 high-level vulnerabilities in Android, although 2 are irrelevant to Samsung devices. In addition, Samsung has fixed 33 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE) to strengthen device security further.

These vulnerabilities mainly impact components such as One UI Home, System Property, System UI, Filter Provider, Secure Folder, Configuration Message, IMS service, Knox, MTP app, and others. Beyond security enhancements, the update delivers performance improvements and stability-boosting fixes.

Users of Samsung Galaxy A53 smartphone can easily check and install the update via a few easy steps:

  • Navigate to Settings.
  • Select Software Updates from the menu.
  • Tap on the Download and Install option to initiate the update process.
  • If the update is available, proceed to install it.

The company will soon make this update available in all countries.
