Samsung Galaxy M55s could feature a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor. The company is working to launch a newer variant of the Galaxy M55 5G. Now, the chipset used in the smartphone has been revealed before the official launch.

The upcoming Samsung smartphone with model number SM-M558B was spotted on Geekbench. The alleged Galaxy M55s uses a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, the same as the M55 5G. There were assumptions that the newer variant could debut with an upgraded chip.

Samsung first launched the Galaxy M55 with some majestic specs like 45W fast charging. Later, the company brought the C55 and F55 to China and India. Both C and F models feature a leather-back design that stands apart from the segment.

As the processor remains unchanged, we might see differences in other aspects. The vendor may equip the Galaxy M55s with a better camera and battery than the M55 5G. It’s also expected that the leader back design could feature in M55s that lacks in M55.

Geekbench listing revealed that the Galaxy M55s has 8GB RAM and Android 14 pre-installed. Compared to the Galaxy M55 5G and its rebranded models, Samsung’s Galaxy A55 performs better with its 4nm Exynos processor.
