Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra could feature a 5000mAh battery and 45W fast charging. The company is preparing to bring a design overhaul to its next-gen flagships. Meanwhile, the battery and charging aspects of the Ultra model are seemingly unchanged.
According to IceUniverse, Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra ‘still’ has a 5000mAh battery and 45W charging support. The input comes from a credible source, who maintains a pretty impressive reputation when it comes to tech leaks.
With the Galaxy S23 Ultra, Samsung re-debuted 45W fast charging to its mobile segment. The Galaxy S24 Plus and S24 Ultra also support 45W input. Now the latest input indicates that the charging speed will stay capped at 45W for another year.

Samsung could improve the battery life and charging speed through artificial intelligence. Galaxy AI could have some battery performance-related features to increase efficiency. Intelligent handling of apps and services could also reduce charging duration.
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 will power the S25 Ultra. The chipset is said to boast Qualcomm’s Oryon central processing unit. It will bring improved performance and power efficiency to the device, ultimately enabling longer usage between charges.
The South Korean tech giant will unveil the Galaxy S25 series early next year. The lineup will comprise three models; Standard, Plus and Ultra. The company is also in talks with MediaTek to use the Dimensity 9400 chip in non-Ultra models.
The S25 Ultra is said to feature a rounded-edge design similar to the Note 7. The company seems to be ultimately ditching the boxy frame design from its flagships. It is aimed at improving the handling of the device and refining accessibility.
