Recent leaks suggest that the next One UI iteration is highly inspired by iOS. Tipster chunvn8888 claims that One UI 7 carries Live Activities along with Dynamic Island. When enabled, the feature will display the app’s recent data on lockscreen.

Live Activities could also be integrated with Samsung’s Dynamic Island thing. The Live Activity may also be visible through Dynamic Island. This addition will allow people to refer to live info at a glance and perform quick actions.

Apple brought a pill-shaped display cutout to the iPhone 14 Pro and later models. The pill shape is to boast a selfie camera and face ID sensor. The iPhone maker made this pill shape cutout an interesting thing with wise software tweaks.

Through the Dynamic Island, Galaxy users could be able to check alerts and current activity in progress. Supported functionalities may include voice recording progress, Quick Share connection, Maps directions, activities of paired wearable devices, and so on.

History tells us that the Galaxy S24 will first get the One UI 7 Beta firmware. Samsung could launch the Beta testing program in South Korea first. It will ultimately be available in China, Germany, India, Poland, the UK, and the US as well.
