One UI 7 Dynamic Pill, Quick Settings, Notification Panel and more leaked
A massive One UI 7 leak reveals design changes, Dynamic Pill (Island), and a lot more. Over the last few days, we have heard much about Samsung’s next One UI software. Now, the changes started to appear in graphical form, signaling a major redesign.
SmartPrix revealed a handful of One UI 7 design changes and new additions such as Dynamic Pill. The latest software seems to be adopting a separate Notification Panel and Quick Settings. UI elements are also going circular to match the overall feel.
Dynamic Pill:
Samsung’s version of Dynamic Island is almost confirmed in One UI 7. Rather than Apple’s approach to cover up the pill shape cutout, Samsung made the Status Bar pill dynamic. The leaked video shows the Dynamic Pill functioning.
In the video, you can see the Stopwatch feature running. When tapped, the status bar pill enlarges on the top of the screen to show additional info. However, the video indicates that more work on the function is required as the transition isn’t smooth.

Quick Settings:
Apple and Xiaomi phones have separate panels for Notifications and Quick Settings. One UI 7 simply replicated the user interface for Galax devices. The upper right swipe will bring quick toggles in the minimized panel, while another swipe will expand it further.
The leaked battery indicator is also shown in the quick settings panel image. The software has softened the edges of toggle elements, making the chips circular from the edges. The panel division has also adopted a rounded-edge design.
It now has different sections for brightness and volume-related settings. Both sections feature additional screen and speaker settings. The panel doesn’t look like Apple’s iOS, but One UI 7 is heavily inspired by iOS.
Notification panel:
One UI 7 will have a dedicated notification panel. It would be activated through upper left swipe on the screen. Tipster chunvn8888 revealed the design through his recent X post, showcasing the notification chips that could support expansion.
Rounded UI elements and Continuity notifications:
Samsung has revamped the UI elements within the Settings section. The new software adopts rounded user interface components, following other areas. Continuity notification will ensure you won’t miss any notifications across ecosystem devices.
