Samsung has rolled out the July 2024 security update for Galaxy A54 smartphones in Europe. This update makes the smartphone more secure, stable, and reliable by fixing a bundle of issues.

Users of Samsung Galaxy A54 5G can verify the July 2024 security update in Europe through the One UI build version A546BXXS9CXG1. The installation package size of this update is around 260MB.

The fresh update improves system security and stability to enhance the overall performance. It protects against security threats by incorporating the latest security patches for Android. Also, it improves some functions to provide a better user experience.

Moreover, it contains the Security Maintenance Release (SMR), combining patches from Google and Samsung. Google addresses 4 critical and 21 high-level vulnerabilities in Android while Samsung has also addressed 33 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE).

These vulnerabilities mainly impact components such as One UI Home, System Property, System UI, Filter Provider, Secure Folder, Configuration Message, IMS service, Knox, MTP app, and others. Beyond security enhancements, the update delivers performance improvements and stability-boosting fixes.

To install the update, users should navigate to the Software Update section found within the device’s Settings. They can select ‘Download and install’ from there to initiate the update process.

Aside from this, Samsung is working on One UI 7 and One UI 6.1.1 rollout. The company is expected to start the beta program of One UI 7 for Galaxy devices in late July 2024 or early August 2024.
