Here’s why your Galaxy Buds 3/3 Pro beeping and how to fix it

Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro launched with several new functions and impressive design. Some users have encountered a beeping issue while using the Galaxy Buds 3 series. However, Samsung is aware of this issue and explained the cause of it.

If you’re also experiencing an unexpected beeping or howling sound while using your Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 or Buds 3 Pro, it might be related to the earbuds’ advanced noise control features.

Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro have features like Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), Optimized Noise Control, and Ambient Sound. These functions use microphones on the outside of the earbuds to either block out noise, adjust to your environment, or let you hear outside sounds better.

The issue usually occurs if you accidentally cover or touch the sub-microphone, which is located on the outer part of the earbuds. When ANC, Optimized Noise Control, or Ambient Sound are turned on, these features pick up sounds from this microphone and play them back through the earbuds.

If you cover the microphone while handling the earbuds, it can cause a beeping or howling noise. To avoid this, make sure you don’t cover the area around the sub-microphone when you’re putting on, taking off, or adjusting the earbuds.

You can prevent the beeping sound and enjoy the benefits of your Galaxy Buds 3 or Buds 3 Pro without interruptions, just by properly placing it.
