Samsung has pushed a new update for the Galaxy S20 FE smartphone in the US. The new update installs the latest Android security patch released in July 2024 to improve system security and stability.

July 2024 security update for the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE smartphone is currently available for locked models in the US, following the release in Europe. The update can be identified through One UI build version G781USQSHHXF2.

The Korean tech giant is releasing the latest software update with system security improvements to keep your files and data safe on your phone. It also optimizes system stability to offer you uninterrupted and seamless functionality on your device.

July 2024 patch brings fixes over 55 issues mainly related to components like One UI Home, System UI, Secure Folder, and more, further enhancing device security. The update improves overall performance for a better experience.

Users are advised to check for the availability of the July 2024 security update by navigating to the Settings app >> Software Update >>> Download and install option on their Samsung smartphones. The company will soon make this update available for all models.

Samsung is working on a major software update based on One 6.1, which will be similar to One UI 6.1.1. This major update brings new features and enhancements along with improved Galaxy AI functions to provide an intuitive experience.

However, the Galaxy S20 FE smartphone is not eligible for the One UI 6 update and currently running on One UI 5.1. If you are planning to upgrade your smartphone then there are several options like the Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy S21 FE, and more.
