Next Samsung LockStar update to fix AOD background issue

If you use the LockStar Good Lock module on your Samsung smartphone, you’re probably enjoying its ability to customize your lock screen with different clocks, notifications, and app shortcuts. However, some users with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 have reported an issue with the Always On Display (AOD) background when using LockStar.

According to the information, the issue occurs when Galaxy Z Fold 6 users reboot their smartphones. After restarting, the lock screen background on the cover screen might turn off.

Users also have the same issue if they activate the AOD section in LockStar, it can turn off the AOD lock screen background display as well. This means that the background you set might not show up as selected.

Samsung is aware of the AOD background issue of LockStar and has confirmed that it will be addressed. The community moderator has mentioned that a fix is on the way through a future update for the LockStar app.

The new update of Samsung LockStar is expected to resolve the problem and restore the AOD background display functionality on the Galaxy Z Fold 6 smartphone. However, the moderator hasn’t confirmed the exact timeline for the next update release. Stay tuned for more information.
