Samsung updates Galaxy A25 with July 2024 security update

Samsung has pushed the July 2024 security update for Galaxy A25 smartphone users. The update makes the smartphone more stable, secure, and reliable by fixing a bunch of issues.

July 2024 security update for Samsung Galaxy A25 arrives with One UI build version A256EXXS5BXG4. Users will have to download around 300MB package to install the update.

Users of Samsung Galaxy A25 are getting the fresh security patch in Latin American countries and the company will expand it in more regions soon. It is an initial rollout so it may take some hours or days to reach all models.

The July 2024 security patch addresses over 55 issues including 4 critical and 21 high-level vulnerabilities in Android, although 2 are irrelevant to Samsung devices. In addition, Samsung has fixed 33 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE) to strengthen device security further.

These vulnerabilities mainly impact components such as One UI Home, System Property, System UI, Filter Provider, Secure Folder, Configuration Message, IMS service, Knox, MTP app, and others. Beyond security enhancements, the update delivers performance improvements and stability-boosting fixes.

Users of Samsung Galaxy A25 smartphone can easily check and install the update via a few easy steps:

  • Navigate to Settings.
  • Select Software Updates from the menu.
  • Tap on the Download and Install option to initiate the update process.
  • If the update is available, proceed to install it.
