Samsung has rolled out the July 2024 update for the Galaxy Note 20 series in India, following Europe and Canada. The new update installs the latest Android security patch released to improve system security and stability.

July 2024 security patch fixes 33 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE) related to components like One UI Home, System UI, Secure Folder, and more, further enhancing device security. Also, Google addresses 4 critical and 21 high-level vulnerabilities in Android.

In addition, the update optimizes system stability to offer you uninterrupted and seamless functionality on your device. It is a regular update so it does not contain any new features or changes.

Users of the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra can identify the July 2024 security update through One UI build version N98xBXXSCHXG3 in India. The installation package size of this update is around 350MB.

Samsung advises users to check for the availability of the July 2024 security update and install it to enjoy enhanced features. They just need to navigate to the Settings app >> Software Update >>> Download and install option on their Samsung smartphones. The company will soon make this update available for all models.

Aside from this, the Korean tech giant is working on a major software update based on One 6.1, which will be similar to One UI 6.1.1. This major update brings new features and enhancements along with improved Galaxy AI functions to provide an intuitive experience.

However, the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra smartphones are not eligible for this major update. Users of these devices can upgrade their smartphones to the latest Galaxy series to take advantage of new features.
