Samsung Galaxy M05 and F05 smartphones incoming

Samsung will launch two new budget phones in India, soon. The company’s upcoming Galaxy M05 and Galaxy F05 appeared on BIS certification. The listing confirms the imminent launch of the devices in the Indian market.

In a recent development, Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy M05 and Galaxy F05 are listed on India’s BIS certification database. The devices bear model numbers SM-M055F/DS and SM-E055F/DS, respectively.

Apart from model numbers, BIS doesn’t reveal any specs of the phones. We guess Samsung could soon announce the handsets in India. Besides Samsung, the M05 could be sold on Amazon, while the F05 could be from Flipkart.

The Korean tech giant facing immense competition in the Indian market. Aggressive pricing and competitive specs by Chinese vendors harming Galaxy sales in the budget segment as people consider buying Xiaomi or Vivo.

Earlier, the phones were certified by Wi-Fi Alliance, confirming 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi. Notably, these devices coming quite late as Samsung is already working on the Galaxy A06, which could be arriving within three months.

The A06 is expected to be equipped with a MediaTek Helio G85 processor. It will come out with Android 14-based One UI 6.1 out of the box. The handset will also have a 5000mAh battery supported by 15W wired charging.
