Samsung One UI 7 is loaded with striking new features and user interface tweaks. While the company postponed the Beta release, insider leaked out an apparent One UI 7 changelog, listing new feature additions, animation uprises, and more.

IceUniverse posted an apparent One UI 7 changelog on Weibo. The source made many exciting claims about Samsung’s next big One UI upgrade. There are loads of tweaks and additions worth knowing, have a look at the screenshot below.

The tipster noted that the latest software includes new system app icons, a new battery icon and charging animation, a new camera app UI, and new animations. Users will also be able to pick their preferred style for Quick Settings and Notification panel.

Currently, a single swipe opens quick setting toggles along with notifications. Another swipe expands the quick settings panel, listing many functional buttons. The next iteration will bring separated quick settings and notification panel layout.

Chinese vendors already adopted large folders, which no longer remain an amazing feature. Samsung is said to have included large folder support in the One UI 7, letting Galaxy users create large folders of apps on the home screen.

A personalizable layout is also available in One UI 7. You will have the option to remove labels from apps and widgets on the home screen. These changes are adopted from Apple’s iOS apart from the modifications coming to the lock screen.

The leak also mentions that the lock screen will support more widgets. There will be a control center on the bottom of the lock screen. Left and Right swipe shortcuts could also be adjusted at the user’s convenience.

Galaxy S24 users are eagerly waiting for the One UI Beta to commence. However, we suggest holding your horses on Beta Program. If you are planning to install Beta on your primary device, don’t do this as bugs and issues would ruin your experience.
