Samsung fuels Galaxy A16 5G with MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC

Samsung equipped the Galaxy A16 5G with new MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC. In a recent development, the upcoming smartphone benchmarked on Geekbench with model number SM-A166P running Android 14 OS.

The company is preparing to introduce a new affordable handset. The Galaxy A15 was launched in December last year and the Galaxy A16 5G could get a similar release timeline.

Geekbench also revealed that the alleged Galaxy A16 5G was running Android 14 and MediaTek Dimensity 6300 was paired with 6GB RAM. Meanwhile, there will be different memory configurations will be available during the official announcement of the smartphone.

It is reported that the company will also bring its LTE variant to some markets. The Galaxy A15 5G uses a Dimensity 6100+ processor. Meanwhile, Samsung’s Galaxy A15 LTE comes with a MediaTek Helio G99 processor.

Credible source Onleaks recently revealed CAD renders of the Galaxy A06 smartphone. The phone will have Key Island debuted with the Galaxy A35 and A55 devices. Therefore, a similar Key Island design is certain in the Galaxy A16 as well.

We expect more details about the handset will emerge in the coming days. However, it could share some hardware specs with its predecessor, such as a 6.5-inch sAMOLED screen, 50-megapixel primary camera, 5000mAh batter, and 25W fast charging.
