Samsung has started releasing the July 2024 security update for its Galaxy A14 4G users. This update is rolling out initially to users in Brazil and the company will expand it soon.

July 2024 security update for Samsung Galaxy A14 4G arrives with version number A145MUBS7CXG2 and a 200MB package. The update boosts device security and enhances overall performance.

Notably, the Galaxy A14 5G variant has already received this major update in the US and South Korea. The company is regularly working to make this update available for all models.

The fresh update for the Samsung Galaxy A14 4G addresses over 55 issues, primarily fixing One UI Home, System UI, Secure Folder, and other issues. By integrating security patches from both Android and Samsung, the update enhances security against potential threats to ensure that user data remains protected.

Users are encouraged to install the update as soon as possible to take advantage of the enhanced features. For those who have not yet received an update notification, it is possible to manually check for and install the update.

To do so, users should navigate to the smartphone’s settings, select ‘Software Update’, and then tap ‘Download and install’. It is an initial rollout so it may take some hours or days to reach all models.
