Expect wonders in One UI 7.1 as One UI 7 focuses on animation, fluency
One UI 7.1 will bring new features, while One UI 7 focuses on animation and system fluency insider reveals. Samsung will release One UI 7 update later this year, while its .1 variant will come out with the Galaxy S25 series flagships.
According to Ice Universe, One UI 7.1 update will add additional features. Being an important part of the next-gen flagship lineup, the software will introduce major upgrades. We expect many new features powered by Galaxy AI to come out.
Samsung has a history of debuting new flagship lineups with a brand-new One UI version. While the Android 15-based One UI 7 coming later this year, the One UI 7.1 will come pre-installed in the Galaxy S25, slated for a January 2025 launch.
It doesn’t mean that the One UI 7 will bring nothing other than smoother animations. This aspect is just in focus, probably getting significant rework. Meanwhile, new features and functional enhancements would surely be included.
One UI 7.0 focuses on animation (including elegant animation) and system fluency.
One UI 7.1 will add more functions because it is an important part of S25.— ICE UNIVERSE (@UniverseIce) August 6, 2024
Samsung is focussing on providing users with an improved ecosystem experience. Galaxy phone, tablet, earbuds, and smart wearables will be deeply integrated. Faster pairing and AI-powered monitoring and switching functions should be joined.
Animation and system fluency will also be improved in One UI 7.1. Transition effects are the key element in any software, which should always be reliable. The Galaxy S25 series is also rumored to present elevated system fluency and stability.
With the One UI 6, Samsung’s first aim was to deploy Android 15 on Galaxy devices. The software brought design changes, but the One UI 6.1 was considered a bigger update. Besides Galaxy AI, the mid-cycle iteration carried several new features.
