Samsung is preparing to release the Android 15-based One UI 7 beta for Galaxy devices, which is expected to start in just a few days. The company has been internally testing One UI 7 builds on its flagship devices and has now extended the testing to include a Samsung Galaxy A series smartphone – the Galaxy A55 5G.

According to the latest information via Checkfirm, the Samsung Galaxy A55 smartphone has been spotted with a One UI 7 testing build, which can be identified by the version number A556BXXU4BXGA. This testing is specifically for the European variant of the Galaxy A55, as indicated by the CSC code EVR, which represents the UK.

The appearance of this new build shows that Samsung is actively developing the next iteration of its custom skin, One UI. The company is expected to initiate a beta program for Galaxy devices in the near future. This program will allow users to experience the features of One UI 7 before its official release.

Aside from this, the performance of several Galaxy smartphones running Android 15-based One UI 7 has already been tested on GeekBench. These models include the Galaxy S21 Plus, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy S24 Plus, Galaxy S23 Ultra, Galaxy S22, and Galaxy A35.

Notably, Samsung announced that the stable One UI 7 will officially release on 3rd October 2024 during the Samsung Developer Conference (SDC). The update will first be available for new flagship phones like the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and Galaxy Z Fold 6. After that, it will be rolled out to other devices.
