Samsung has pushed the August 2024 security update for the Galaxy F55 smartphone in India. This update is already out for the Galaxy M55 and Galaxy S23 series. The company is regularly working to add more devices to the updated list.

August 2024 security update for Samsung Galaxy F55 smartphone arrives with One UI build version E556BXXU2AXG7 and weighs 455MB package. This update is available in India and the company will make it available to all models in the coming days.

August 2024 Security Patch Details

The fresh update contains the Security Maintenance Release (SMR), combining patches from Google and Samsung. Google addresses 1 critical, 34 high-level vulnerabilities in Android, although 2 are irrelevant to Galaxy devices.

Samsung has also addressed 14 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE) to strengthen device security further. These vulnerabilities mainly impact components such as system service, Knox services, Galaxy Watch, and more.

How to update:

Users can check and install the latest update through their device Settings >> Software Update >> Download and install. The update not only enhances device security but also ensures access to the most up-to-date features and enhancements.

Besides this, Samsung is regularly working to start the One UI 7 Beta and One UI 6.1.1 rollout. The company is expected to start the beta program of One UI 7 for Galaxy devices in the coming days as several Galaxy devices already appeared on testing Platforms.
