Samsung is all set to launch the Galaxy M55s in India. The company’s upcoming smartphone was recently listed on India’s BIS certification site. The device has been spotted on BIS with SM-M558B/DS, revealing no other info.

The Galaxy M55s could be an upgraded version of the M55 5G. Previously, it was reported that the M55s uses the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip. This processor offers a peak clock speed of 2.4GHz and comprises an Adreno 644 GPU and 8GB of RAM.

Samsung will launch the Galaxy M55s with Android 14 out of the box. It will be eligible for at least four years of Android upgrades and five years of security patches. WiFi Alliance listing revealed that it supports 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi connectivity.

The Galaxy M55 comes with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED+ display with 120Hz refresh rate. It boasts a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 50-megapixel selfie camera. It also supports 45W fast charging, featuring a massive 5000mAh battery.

The launch of the Galaxy M55s is just a matter of time. While the phone’s chipset is the same as the M55, we could see changes in design or any other aspect. I personally guess the F55-like leatherback could be used on the Galaxy M55s.

Samsung hasn’t yet officially confirmed the Galaxy M55s. Based on previous records, we’ve guessed the phone’s name, which couldn’t be final. It’s expected that the company will announce the smartphone in the coming weeks.
